Alliance Against Poverty (AAP) supports the Kitchener Waterloo Solidarity Network! On Friday February 20th, Holli-Lynne joined with the KWSN Action Squad and allies from the Alliance Against Poverty to deliver a demand letter to Revel’s offices on Victoria Street. After two weeks, Holli-Lynne has not received her money, so it’s time to put more pressure on Revel.
KWSN is currently picketing out-front of Revel’s office, demanding that they pay HL the money they owe her! We’re joined by community members, and receiving support from tenants coming by the office to pay rent, as well as driver’s by! A leaflet is also being distributed to let our community know what to expect when dealing with Revel and their smoke and mirrors attempts at dodging accountability! We’ve already had some media coverage, but stay tuned for more, and of course, come join us on the picket line!Alliance Against Poverty (AAP) members came out to support HL on the April 1st picket.

KWSN says: The support we are beginning to get from the media; Kitchener residents, and how quickly word of mouth is spreading about the company’s practices, is incredible. We appreciate the emails that have been coming in from tenants and other community members and the media, which are helping to inform our next steps.
We invite everyone to visit Revel’s Facebook book page and leave a review! Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/revelapartments?sk=reviews
