Politicians Taken To Task Over Transit

Most Grand River Transit passengers have low incomes and any fare increase is "a reprehensible assault on our most vulnerable citizens," Oz Cole-Arnal said.

 

"We shouldn't be making their lives more difficult," Eleanor Grant said. Grant and Cole-Arnal belong to a grassroots group formed to fight poverty.

 

Politicians heard the transit complaints at a meeting this week.
