"Money for poor...2014 budget issues for Waterloo Region..."

"People are becoming poorer faster than your commendable efforts to help them," said Richard Walsh from the Alliance Against Poverty.


He asked council to expand benefits to help the more than 50,000 people in Waterloo Region who are low income.

"Don't nickel and dime the people for whom every nickel and dime counts," Walsh said
